Back up in the Air

This weekend we were able to host two of our GYFM teammates: Andrew Lupton (serving in Bogota, Colombia) and Jonathan Taylor (serving in the US). They came a few days early before a leadership conference in order to check out Nagoya (and get a head start on beating jet lag!). In the few days they were here we were able to squeeze in some unique Japanese foods (think octopus, fish eggs, and lots of green tea powder), public baths, two different church services, lunch at a local college campus and of course a few naps for our jetlagging friends.

Today the boys (Andrew, Jonathan and Brooks) took off to spend the week in Cambodia for MTW’s Leadership Conference. This is a week long conference for 130 of MTW’s leaders to collaborate, receive training, and strategically and collaboratively think through world missions. Please pray for them as they represent GYFM at this conference that they would be able to explain the vision and mission of GYFM well and have opportunities for great conversations with our leaders from all over the world!

Please also pray for Riva and Quinn who will be holding up the home front in Japan. Language school starts this week on top of regularly scheduled Bible studies and other commitments. Please pray for Riva as she juggles this schedule with Quinn and without Brooks.
